Five Meals for Your Family Table.....Week 32

After a fun, but busy Summer weekend the last thing I want to do is think about what to make for dinner! Luckily our meal plan is all set with some great tastes of Summer to put on your family table this week!
The fresh lemon and asparagus is the perfect start to the week. This Lemon Pasta is a perfect fix for any case of  "the Mondays".
Shrimp Tacos are a Summer favorite. Place some uncooked, peeled shrimp in a grill basket and drizzle with a little EVOO and a sprinkle of taco seasoning. Grill for a 5-7 minutes until the shrimp turn pink. Shredded purple cabbage, pineapple salsa, fresh cilantro and avocado are some of the best shrimp taco toppings... in my opinion!

This is a perfect mid week meal...on the table in less than 30 minutes & easy clean up! My Italian Sausage sheet pan supper is kind of like a deconstructed Italian hoagie and is a winner at our family table.
There is nothing better to me that a delicious salad filled with all the flavors of Summer. This summer salad with fresh berries is one of my favorites! I top some greens with all the berries of summer... strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. Add some grilled chicken (or rotisserie), a sprinkle of feta and a drizzle of balsamic and dinner is done!
Here is a fun burger to try on Friday night....Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Burgers. Some sweet from pineapple & a little spice from the BBQ make this burger so tasty! For these burgers, mix 1lb of ground chicken with 2 TBSP of BBQ sauce, 1 TSP of salt and 1/2 TSP pepper, and 2 finely chopped scallions. Grill the burgers, along with some pineapple slices (brushed with EVOO). Build your burger with the pineapple, some red onion and a little of your favorite BBQ sauce. Perfect taste to end the week!
